The Citizen Portal
The Citizen Portal presents a new concept of electronic communication of the public with the public administration of the Czech Republic, thus meeting all the needs of citizens and the latest trends. It enables fast and efficient interconnection and delivery of public administration services to citizens consistently across all channels, through a modern and progressive web application, mobile applications and notifications.
The new concept of the solution consists in the idea of creating a single access point for the use of digital services related to the public administration based on the federation of portals of individual offices. Citizens can access this parent portal through the state-recognized, qualified and certified identities (electronic identity cards, data boxes).
The portal makes it possible for both citizens and businesses to solve various life situations through a single point, to find out what information the public administration keeps thereof and what is the status of their submission; in future, the portal will also inform on the persons’ balances of payments against the state and will enable repayment of fees for provided services.
