Citizen’s Electronic Health Book

As part of the national “Electronic Health Services” project, Asseco Central Europe created and delivered the “Citizen’s Electronic Health Book” section, which provides access to patients’ medical records in electronic form so that healthcare professionals have patients’ up-to-date, correct and complete health information when providing healthcare, which can significantly increase the quality and safety of the healthcare provided. The solution includes a Patient Summary, which contains a selection of the most important records of the patient's health, such as side effects, serious illnesses from which they have recovered, medications used, vaccinations, etc. The solution makes it possible to provide citizens with access to their health data and to monitor who accessed which specific data. Access to health data is provided for individuals through a web interface and for physicians through outpatient or hospital systems. The solution also ensures the provision of data from the personal accounts of the insured.
The creation of the solution placed great emphasis on the security of the collection, storage and provision of health and demographic data on citizens/patients.
