Health registers
Register of Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventions
Under the “Administrative Registers and Central Report Repository, Hygiene, Medical and Other Registers” project, electronic registers (eRegisters) were created with a focus on the collection and statistical processing of data related to patients’ health status.
The solution includes the National Register of Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventions, which consists of two registers: the National Cardiac Surgery Register (NKR) and the National Register of Cardiovascular Interventions (NRKI).
The registers allow the inputting of selected data via a web typing interface or the bulk import of data in the form of a batch. The collected data is extracted and this extracted data is used for the creation of various statistical outputs. The solution also includes OLAP cubes, which allow authorised employees to conduct analyses and generate ad hoc outputs. The solution facilitates the sharing of health information between healthcare professionals in selected cases, i.e. sharing information in the National Register of Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventions.
