egister of Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventions in the Czech Republic
As a part of the project "Administrative Registers and CÚV, Hygiene, Health, and Other Registers," we implemented electronic registers (eRegisters) focusing on efficient collection and statistical processing of patient health data in the Czech Republic. This project also included the National Register of Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventions, which comprises two specific registers: the National Cardiovascular Surgery Register (NCSR) and the National Register of Cardiovascular Interventions (NRCI).
The registers enable the efficient entry of data through a web interface or via bulk data imports. The collected information is then analysed and used to generate various statistical reports. The system allows, in certain cases, the sharing of health data among healthcare professionals, which contributes to improved coordination of care and greater efficiency in treatment processes within the National Register of Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventions in the Czech Republic.
Key Functionality
Collection of selected health data for statistical processing purposes
Sharing of selected health information among healthcare professionals
Extraction of health data for statistical processing and reporting purposes
Conduct of analyses and generation of ad-hoc outputs
Main benefits
Efficient statistical processing and daily report generation
Accessible up-to-date DWH and OLAP cubes (data updated during nightly extraction) to conduct analyses and generate ad-hoc outputs
Sharing of patient data with physicians from the National Register of Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventions
