Reproductive Health Register in the Czech Republic
As a part of the project "Administrative Registers, CÚV, Hygiene, Health, and Other Registers in the Czech Republic," we have implemented electronic registers (eRegister) focusing on the efficient collection and statistical processing of patient health data. This project included the National Reproductive Health Register (NRHR), consisting of several specific registers operated in the Czech Republic: the National Assisted Reproduction Register (NARR), the National Newborns Register (NNR), the National Abortions Register (NAR), the National
Births Register (NBR), and the National Congenital Defects Register (NCDR).
Entries into those registers can be made through a web interface and they allow for bulk data imports. The collected data is subsequently analysed and processed to prepare various statistical reports.
Key Functionality
Collection of selected health data for statistical processing
Sharing of selected health information among healthcare professionals
Extraction of health data for statistical processing and reporting
Performing analyses and generating ad hoc outputs
Main benefits
Efficient statistical processing and report generation on a daily basis
Access to current DWH and OLAP cubes (data updated during overnight extraction) for analysis and ad hoc output generation
Physicians have access to the National Register of Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventions
