Fisheries Information System

This information system interconnects all organizational units of the Czech Fishing Union in all key areas the Union is involved in. The Union's processes are significantly simplified as many of those that previously had to be done manually are automated now. Additionally, all union members, numbering more than 200,000, have access to the system and thus it is not just a system for local organizations and territorial unions, but it provides maximum comfort for all members who prefer to operate electronically from their homes without the need to visit local organizations in person. The system has also replaced an overwhelming majority of previously unconnected and often outdated systems that the Union had used for its activities.

Technologically, it is a so-called lightweight client – no installation is required to access the system, it can be operated from any computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection.
