Administrative Register of Economic Entities (ARES)
The ARES Information System is a register that provides access to the data from information systems serving to maintain public administration registers and records concerning economic entities in the Czech Republic. ARES is primarily designed for the purposes of audits carried out by tax and customs authorities, but it also serves many public and commercial institutions. The system provides a clear overview of data that it retrieves from source registers directly into the ARES database. Additionally, it allows for direct switching to web applications of public authorities operating individual information systems where such applications already exist. The purpose of the application is to provide a quick access to generally available information about individual entities. In addition, the system transfers data to the national open data catalogue.
