e-Collection and e-Legislation (eSeL)
e-Collection and e-Legislation are part of the digital transformation of the Czech Republic´s legal system. They provide access to current and past laws in an electronic form and enhance law-making efficiency.
e-Collection is a modern digital platform that offers an easy access to all legal regulations of the Czech Republic. It includes a search functionality, both a mobile version and a desktop version, continuous updates, and current and past versions of laws. e-Legislation is a revolutionary platform for the creation, discussion, and announcement of legal regulations. It ensures greater transparency and efficiency in all phases of the legislative process and provides an overview of ongoing legislative processes.
e-Legislation will be gradually implemented among users in several steps between 2024 and 2026.

Guarantee – eSeL contains a cleaned database of legal regulations, which is guaranteed by the state.

Full scale: eSeL includes tools for legislation creation from drafting to the final publication in e-Collection. It is also linked with other information systems of the Government Office, the Chamber of Deputies, and the Senate.

Quality and Transparency: The system will enhance law-making quality and transparency and reduce legal framework errors. Draft legislations can be viewed anytime via the e-Legislation portal.

Connection with Supporting Information: The system connects to supporting, explanatory, and methodological documents from public administration (explanatory reports, interpretative statements).

Unique Solution: The system represents a unique solution within EU countries and is connected with European Union systems - EUR-Lex and N-Lex.
