Registry of Persons (RP)

The Register of Persons (RP) is one of the four important public administration registers of the Czech Republic. The purpose of the RP is to record and publish reference data on legal entities, self-employed individuals, and public administration authorities.

All public administration authorities authorized according to the Register of Rights and Obligations utilize the Register of Persons. Editors handle all entries in the Register of Persons and, as part of their role, assign organization identification numbers (IČO), and record and update relevant reference data. The main data sources include the Commercial Register, the Trade Licensing Register, information systems, and records of selected ministries and central administrative bodies, professional chambers, municipalities, regions, and veterinary authorities.
