Citizen Portal (National)
The Citizen Portal represents a central concept for electronic communication between the public and the public administration of the Czech Republic, addressing all citizens' needs and reflecting modern trends. It enables quick and efficient engagement and delivery of public administration services to citizens consistently across all channels through a modern and progressive web application, mobile applications, and notifications.
The solution is based on the idea of creating a single access point for utilizing digital services withing the interaction with the public administration, built on a federation of services provided by individual office portals. Citizens can log in to this overarching portal, using state-recognized qualified and certified identities (citizen identity, banking identity, data boxes).
Both citizens and business entities can use the portal to address various life situations via a single point where they can also learn what information the public administration holds about them and the status of their submissions; in the future, they will be able to check their payment balance with the government and pay for provided services.
