City of Brno Portal
The full-scale portal solution of the City of Brno meets all cybersecurity and accessibility requirements. An emphasis is put on the availability of most commonly sought information that users can find right on the main well-arranged and graphically minimalist page. Mini-websites for various projects, city district websites, and websites of public organizations and municipal companies can operate on this portal as well.
Key functionalities
The platform operates within a robust technical environment – Liferay, which offers several advantages. Primarily, it can host additional thematic and project related mini-websites for the City, there are already several tens of them, as well as city district websites for which necessary templates have been created, and even for municipal companies and public organizations. Currently, there are 10 mini-websites running on the platform (https://www.brno.cz/weby-mesta) and their number is gradually increasing thanks to city districts. Additionally, all users of the platform can share previously created template pages, making it easier and faster to create any additional websites.
