Information Dissemination Portal (CSO)
The Information Dissemination Portal for the Czech Statistical Office focuses on presenting (not only) statistical information to the public. The project builds on a previously implemented statistical information system and modernizes several “dissemination” modules.
The project's goal was to create a set of applications to assist the Czech Statistical Office in publishing outputs on various statistical topics, such as:

Inflation rate

Gross domestic product development

Demographic data

Results of significant statistical activities such as the Census of Population, Houses, and Dwellings
Key functionalities
The system features two basic components:
Content Management System to enable
- CSO employees to define the web presentation content (i.e., web page content),
- entering of texts and interactive components (graphs, tables, cartograms, widgets),
- management of multiple websites (including through different domains simultaneously),
- an API for loading data about the content of pages.
Public Portal
- to serve for the general public, professional community, and news agencies,
- components for generating HTML using the API of the content management system (headless CMS concept) were provided.
- emphasis on UX/UI, website optimization, and accessibility.
The CSO website contains:
- 900,000 web pages
- 14,000 products (i.e., regular statistical outputs)
- 1,000,000 files
- 30 websites and sub-websites
