Objective

The objective of the project is to use advanced AI and machine learning tools in conjunction with advanced video technology and sensors for new innovative ways of recognizing unwanted objects and substances in separated waste.

The effort will be to use AI capabilities to increase the recognition ability of radar sensors and use them at an appropriate point in the chain of collection and disposal of municipal and separated waste. The link to real-world needs as well as sustainability are ensured by the direct involvement of the city in the solution team and the use of real data from the solved domain.
