Waste Management

Objective

The objective of the project is to use advanced AI and machine learning tools in the field of waste management, specifically for the tasks of predicting the amount of waste and optimizing waste collection. The effort will also be to use the largest possible set of influencing factors.

The link to the needs of the real world as well as sustainability are ensured by the direct involvement of the city in the solution team and the use of real data from the solved domain. The scope of the project is not only focused on cyclical collection typical for cities and their residents, but also on acyclic collections such as waste collection from business entities or collection of electronic waste.
