Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence

A data warehouse (DWH) is a central information system that stores, links, and consolidates large amounts of data from different sources. Its purpose is to provide outputs and analytics so that companies can (using BI tools) turn their data into information on the basis of which they can make intelligent and data-driven decisions. Data warehouses store current and historical data in one place and serve as a single source of truth for an organization.
