Asseco launches registration for its incubator: Get mentoring, contacts, and support from IT experts
Bratislava, January 26, 2026 – The UpSteer incubation program, organized by the international IT company Asseco, has opened registration for its fourth year. Ambitious technology startups from Slovakia and the Czech Republic have the opportunity to receive six months of mentoring and contacts under the guidance of experienced IT and business experts completely free of charge. Applications can be submitted until March 15 via the incubator's official website.
UpSteer focuses on technology-oriented startups engaged in areas such as finance, ERP systems, healthcare, Industry 4.0, public administration, cloud solutions, and infrastructure. The aim of the program is to provide beginners with access to expert mentoring, practical workshops, and strategic consultations to help them establish themselves in the market.
Early-stage startups will have the opportunity to consult their ideas with leading IT and business experts in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The program will be led by Jozef Klein, CEO of Asseco Central Europe and Asseco International. "I have gone through a journey of hard work too, constant learning, and overcoming challenges in business. Now, I am happy to help young talents avoid the mistakes I once faced myself. UpSteer is not just an incubator, but a place where you can gain access to experienced mentors, technologies, and real business opportunities. Personally, I am very excited to be part of it again," said Klein, who is also the winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 award.
Support for innovative solutions
Since its inception in 2022, UpSteer has helped many startups gain business know-how. Successful graduates include startups such as Rewora, OWASmooth, Rewardly, Appara, and Daitable.
"UpSteer helped us develop a comprehensive business plan and moved us forward," said Kamil Kušnirák, leader of last year's winning startup, evaluating the program. His Rewora solution helps e-shops turn customer reviews into trust and higher sales. It consolidates reviews from various sources and displays them in a way that gives customers confidence when making a purchase.
At the same time, even a small e-shop can appear as a professional and trustworthy seller, which directly increases conversions. "We are now entering the business with a clear vision, both financially and technologically. Without Asseco, it would certainly have taken us much longer," adds Kušnirák.
Free participation and attractive premises
The UpSteer program also offers access to office space in Bratislava or Brno, investment opportunities, and contacts with key players in banking, healthcare, insurance, and industry. Since the incubator's goal is to find new talent, it will be completely free for participants again this year.
Entrepreneurs interested in participating in the incubator can register by March 15 using the form on the program's official website: UpSteer - A startup incubator by Asseco.
