Asseco opens the second year of UpSteer Incubator and presents an exceptional opportunity for startups

Slovakia and the Czech Republic are countries with a great potential. Startup ecosystems in both countries bring together a community of young entrepreneurs interested in many business sectors, including innovation, digital solutions, and technology. Asseco Group, an international company with more than 30 years of experience in digitization of global finance (banking, building societies, insurance), ERP, Industry and Utility, healthcare, and public administration, wants to help startups develop their ideas.

After the first year of UpSteer Incubator, we concluded that Slovak and Czech startups are able to turn their innovative ideas into actionable projects. We believe that we have many more exceptional people in both Slovakia and the Czech Republic with visions and business plans, who are worth supporting. That is why we have decided to continue this project after completing the first year of UpSteer Incubator and we are opening the second year.

We see the importance of supporting new companies and startups in Slovakia and the Czech Republic and try to support young people and motivate them to develop their business plans. Asseco Group is a major provider of technological innovations and solutions in more than 60 countries around the world, developing unique information systems. For this market, we have a stable team that includes dedicated professionals with many years of experience. We want to take our knowledge and experience further to help business starters.

In the second year, we want to help such successful teams develop further. We are looking specifically for startups with ideas in banking, insurance, healthcare, Industry 4.0, and specialized IT solution sectors and people with advanced ideas in these areas. Over the course of roughly seven months, participants will receive business and professional mentoring and attend workshops in the areas of law, product, sales, presentation skills, marketing, HR, and finance. At the same time, they will have an opportunity to take advantage of the offices in Bratislava, Prague, and Brno, potential investments, and, last but not least, Asseco's many years of experience.
