Asseco won the Czech Business Superbrands 2018 award

Prague, January 2018 - A few days ago, our company was awarded the Czech Business Superbrands 2018 award. Superbrands is the most respected independent global authority in the field of business brand evaluation and valuation.

The Superbrands title is a sign of special status and recognition of a brand's excellent position in the local market. Only brands with an outstanding reputation will be awarded the Superbrands seal - customers always associate significant values and have a personal relationship with them. Since its inception in the UK, the project has gained global recognition and today, the Superbrands Award is known as a special award that recognises the best of the best brands in nearly 90 countries on five continents each year, based on uniform criteria and methods.

How to become a Superbrands

The Superbrands Award for a given year goes to the brand that passes a multi-round selection process. Individual brands cannot apply for the Superbrands programme. The nomination is based on a database of all commercial trade-mark brands. Bisnode, the world's leading provider of business information, creates a list of nominees based on their business results. The next step is a consumer survey, one of the most important elements of the selection process, in which GfK narrows the selection down to a list of semi-finalists based on familiarity and popularity. The Brand Council's expert panel has the final say in the awarding of the year's titles. At the end of the evaluation process, consumer brands are awarded the Superbrands award, while business brands are awarded the Business Superbrands title.

Superbrands Slovakia

The Superbrands programme was relaunched in the Czech Republic in 2013. Since 2014, brands have been evaluated not only in the consumer category, but also in the business and industrial (B2B) brand category. While the former are publicly known and consumers encounter them on a daily basis in the retail sector, business brands are important players in specialized sectors of industry, agriculture, and commerce. The consumer and business Superbrands of a given year represent the absolute top among the competition. The aim of the Superbrands programme is not only to pay tribute to the most successful brands as regards branding, but also to bring to the attention of consumers and the general public exceptionally strong brands operating on the Slovak market and to present examples worth following for market participants who would like to develop and be inspired by the best. To this end, the Superbrands organisation organises an annual joint PR and media programme, to which only brands awarded with the Superbrands and Business Superbrands title of the year are invited.
