The New Edition of the UpSteer Incubator for Ambitious IT Startups is Approaching

Bratislava, March 6, 2025 – The UpSteer incubation program, organized by the international IT company Asseco, has opened applications for its third edition. Ambitious technology startups from Slovakia and the Czech Republic have the opportunity to receive six months of mentoring and networking under the guidance of experienced IT and business professionals. Applications can be submitted until March 31 via the incubator's official website.

UpSteer focuses on technology-oriented startups working in areas such as finance, ERP systems, healthcare, Industry 4.0, public administration, or cloud solutions and infrastructure. The program aims to provide startups with access to expert mentoring, hands-on workshops, and strategic consulting to help them establish a foothold in the market.

Participants will have the opportunity to consult their ideas with top IT and business experts from Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The program will be led by Jozef Klein, CEO of Asseco Central Europe and Asseco International. “I have walked the path of hard work, continuous learning, and overcoming challenges. Now, I am happy to help young talents avoid the mistakes I once faced alone. UpSteer is not just an incubator - it’s a place where you gain access to experienced mentors, technology, and real business opportunities. I’m personally excited to be a part of it,” said Klein, who is also the recipient of the 2016 EY Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Supporting Innovative Solutions

Since its inception in 2022, UpSteer has helped numerous startups gain entrepreneurial know-how. Among its successful alumni are startups such as Appara, Daitable, Nordics.io, and Wiolp. “UpSteer helped us create a coherent business plan and significantly pushed us forward,” said Dominik Kadlubiak, leader of the Appara startup. Their innovative face mask effectively protects people's health by integrating smart technologies to monitor air quality and health metrics. “We are now entering the business world with a clear vision - both financially and technologically.”

The program also offers access to office spaces in Bratislava, Prague, or Brno, investment opportunities, and connections to key players in banking, healthcare, insurance, and industry. UpSteer is completely free for selected participants.

Entrepreneurs interested in participating in the incubator can register by March 31 using the form on the UpSteer website: UpSteer - A startup incubator by Asseco
